Acrow Group, which features the Acrow Bridge and Mabey Bridge brands, was delighted to speak at this year’s leading military engineering event Combat Engineer 2022 which took place March 22 – 23, in Tallinn, Estonia. The annual event is Europe’s largest conference dedicated to military engineering and was held to discuss, plan and solve current and future operational requirements to support joint force readiness.

Drawing on the decades-long legacy of military bridging capability integral to both the Acrow and Mabey Bridge brands, the presentation focused on future military gap crossing requirements to enhance mobility. Jointly delivered by Acrow’s Russ Parisi, Vice President North America and Mabey Bridge’s Military Business Development Manager, Callum Skeat, it covered rapid deployment for heavier loads in dry and wet gap applications, as well as capability readiness to accommodate future line of communication bridging requirements.

“Prefabricated modular steel bridging systems have been selected as standard Line of Communication Bridges by military organizations all over the world,” said Parisi. “Our Wet and Dry Gap bridges offer critical logistical support under challenging conditions and are engineered to the heaviest Military Load Classes.”
